 Audit costs under the FeedAssure™ Program are $1,050 per man-day, plus auditor travel expenses and all applicable taxes. Prior to the initial audit, new facilities are required to complete a FeedAssure™ Pre-audit Questionnaire to determine if they are fully prepared to proceed with the first audit. Steps to FeedAssure™ Certification
Step 3: Third Party Audit Verification
FeedAssure™ requires all certified facilities to undergo annual Prerequisite Program/HACCP System Verification audits. Audits are conducted by SGS Canada Inc. using certified SGS HACCP Systems auditors with auditing experience in the feed industry.
Audits are conducted on an annual basis, with a three-year renewal cycle:
The length of audits varies from one to three days, based on the type of audit and the complexity of the manufacturing system. Following each audit, the facility is provided with a full written report including a final score/rating. Facilities must attain a minimum required score to maintain their certification in the FeedAssure™ Program. | |||||||||
