FeedAssure™ is designed to be current, relevant and regularly enhanced.  Facilities are required to enter into a Licensing Agreement with FeedAssure™ setting out obligations under the program and to pay an annual license fee of CDN $1,000 for each certified facility.  

A special discounted rate of CDN $500 per facility is available to members of the Animal Nutrition Association of Canada.

Getting Started

Certification under the FeedAssure™ program requires that a facility implement the feed industry’s Prerequisite Program (PRP) and a site-specific HACCP plan and pass an annual third-party audit of their PRP/HACCP system.   Facilities that successfully meet these FeedAssure™ requirements will receive a Certificate of acknowledgement, will be permitted to utilize the FeedAssure™ logo and brandmarks, and will have access to the Members-only section of the FeedAssure™ web-site. 

FeedAssure™ benefits include:

  • Access to annual HACCP audits conducted by SGS Canada Inc.
  • The use of the FeedAssure™ name and logos
