FeedAssure™ Gap Analysis

A gap analysis is a pre-assessment to determine a facility's state of readiness to meet the requirements of the FeedAssure™  program.  It compares a facility's current feed safety system to the FeedAssure™ PRP/HACCP requirements and identifies areas that need to be address to meet FeedAssure™ standards.

How is it done?

The tool used in a Gap Analysis is a checklist.  An experienced auditor will assess a facility's current feed safety system using a checklist to identify and document any system deficiencies.  This checklist will indicate what did or did not meet the requirements for PRP/HACCP-certification under the FeedAssure™ program.

How long is a Gap Analysis?

In most cases the Gap Analysis can be conducted in one day, unless the operation is a highly complex one.  The Gap analysis includes an on-site audit and a completed checklist the organization can use to address any deficiencies identified and help move towards full HACCP certification.
