Training and Support 

FeedAssure™ offers two training course to provide companies with the knowledge and tools required to successfully implement HACCP.

1) “Building a HACCP Program”

This 2-day course, conducted by the Guelph Food Technology Centre, is designed for Quality and Operations staff and anyone wishing to learn about application of HACCP principles in the feed industry. The program provides personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary to design, implement and maintain a prerequisite program and HACCP program in a feed manufacturing facility.  Participants learn about HACCP principles and concepts, review the feed industry prerequisite programs and understand their value as they relate to HACCP, learn how to apply the generic model to develop a customized HACCP plan for their individual plants and learn how to conduct in-plant training sessions. 2) "Internal HACCP Auditing in the Feed Industry"

This 2-day training session, conducted by SGS Canada Inc., teaches participants how to conduct effective internal prerequisite program and HACCP audits in preparation for a third party auditor.  It builds on the information learned in the introductory course "Building a HACCP Program", and covers ISO principles of auditing, prerequisite program and HACCP auditing criteria, and interpretation of audit findings and follow up actions.  Contact FeedAssure™ for more information on “Internal HACCP Auditing in the Feed Industry”.
